Acquisition

Thankfully, getting the pieces for the Scyotid and every other weapon in the Isleeweaver is incredibly easy. All you need to do is complete the Isleeweaver Duviri game mode, and all the Scyotid pieces have a chance to drop.

Alternatively, Isleweaver also drops Scuttler Husks that can be used to purchase the individual blueprints from Acrithis (or Dominus Thrax during the event).

Stats

The Scyotid is a fairly decent weapon with high damage and high crit stats. While the main draw is its ability to group enemies and proc statuses, it can dish out some decent damage.

The alternate fire mode for this weapon throws a webbed snare that damages, paralyzes, and groups enemies together, with the number of enemies grouped multiplied by multishot.

Melting Web Bombs Scyotid Build

The aim for this build is to group as many enemies together and then destroy them in groups using corrosive procs to lower their armor and Blast procs to finish them off.

Mods

The mod choice for this build is as follows:

• Galvanized Diffusion: Arguably the most important mod for this build, we need as much multishot as we can get to make sure we can web huge groups of enemies. This is the best mod to make that happen.
• Lethal Torrent: We grab this mod for the same reason as Galvanized Diffusion. More Multishot means more people we can grab. This also comes with the added benefit of increased fire rate.
• Heated Charge/Prime Heated Charge: We need Heat to create Blast procs, and this is the mod to do it.
• Frostbite: This mod will allow us to create Blast with Heated Charge, with the added bonus of increasing our Status Chance.
• Jolt: This will help us add Corrosive to the Scyotid by mixing with the weapon’s innate Toxin element. It will also increase our Status Chance like Frostbite.
• Hornet Strike: We add this mod to simply pump up our damage to make sure we can kill the groups of enemies we web up.
• Target Cracker/Primed Target Cracker: We grab this mod to boost the already good critical stats on the Scyotid.
• Pistol Gambit/Primed Pistol Gambit: Just like Target Cracker, we grab this mod to boost the critical stats of this weapon.

Arcanes

• Secondary Enervate: This Arcane will ensure we’re hitting big crits on whoever we group up, which will make it easier to kill mobs.
• Secondary Merciless: If you just want pure damage, this Arcane will net you more damage for every kill you get, as well as lower reload times.
